KHADER ADNAN BEING FORCE FED AHEAD OF HIGH COURT APPEAL. DAY 3914: SUNDAY FEBRUARY 19TH 2012.  family Khader Adnan from Palestine, who has been on hunger strike for over sixty days now, has at great personal cost, shone a light on an integral tool that is used by the Isreali government in their barbaric occupation of Palestine. Administrative detention, where Palestinian people can be held without rights, and without trial for indefinate periods, is used as a tool to try to break Palestinian resistance to the illegal occupation of Palestine. Everyone knows that the whole disgusting Israeli practise of a military legal system being used against Palestinians is illegal. Khader Adnan has - peacefully - sent a powerful reminder to the Israeli authorities and the governments of the world who would stand by and watch, that Israel may use force to hold and oppress a body, but they will never control the spirit of those they oppress. It now appears that the Israeli authorities may be force feeding Mr Adnan ahead of a High Court Appeal in his case. In legal terms it is simple. The practise of administrative detention, like the Occupation... must end. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Adnan, his family and all Palestinian people.
