11 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF PARLIAMENT SQUARE PEACE CAMPAIGN. DAY 4018: SATURDAY JUNE 2ND 2012. Today was the eleven year anniversary of the Parliament Square Peace Campaign started by Brian Haw on June 2nd 2001. Brian stood for the whole nation when he stood his ground and spoke the truth. For Justice. After several tumultuous years for the campaign, during which Brian sadly passed away, we decided to have a quiet gathering to mark this years anniversary. It is poignant that the backdrop to this years anniversary is a massive display of state pomp that has caused so much suffering to so many people over so many years. We know that Brian is still with us as we continue the work he so bravely did for so long.
