NELSON MANDELA: JULY 18TH 1918 - DECEMBER 5TH 2013
(This website has recently been undergoing "maintenance", while we have also been busy working on a number of new "projects".)
There is no doubt that Nelson Mandela was a great man who did much.
We witnessed the shameful behaviour of the U.K State during Nelson Mandela's visit to Parliament Square in 2007 for the unveiling of his statue.
It is extraordinary what Western leaders will bizarrely do, as they try to compare themselves to Mandela.

August 29th 2007 was filled with irony.
During the many long years of Apartheid in South Africa, it was the quite incredible Steve Biko who the authorities really feared, which is why he was brutally tortured and murdered in police custody.
It is probably true to say that if Steve Biko were alive today he probably would have been marching with the landless people, against the South African government now.
Sadly with the passing of Nelson Mandela we remember that the South African government have fallen into the familiar trap of failing to actually change the fraudulent economic system they inherited.
In many ways, most people in South Africa remain disenfranchised today, because they too feel there is no-one worth voting for, because the economic system of government has not changed and so their lives do not improve.
